Justin Jeffre for City Council, 2007

Bus Stop Benches

Cincinnati is a City of People, Not Real Estate!

After threatening to cut funding to human services, health clinics, and swimming pools, some members of City Council began a campaign to enhance the City's "curb appeal" by getting rid of advertisements on bus-stop benches -- replacing those benches with newer and nicer seats.

This emphasis on "curb appeal" shows how off-target the current Council has become. Cincinnati needs to start putting people first. We need to take care of our citizens before we waste money on benches that enchance someone's imaginary sense of "curb appeal."
